Happy holidays to you all :) I really hope everyone will get some nice pressies and some nice food. Just wished the weather was nicer, right now the storm and rain is causing floods all around Iceland, sheep and horses have been killed, bridges collapsed and homes damaged. Doesnt look very christmassie out there but hopefully it will calm down in the next day or two. Tomorrow i will have to go to my aunts smelly house and eat some skata (rotten ray).... Actually i wont eat it because i physically cannot, but i will have to stand the smell for couple of hours...

Here are pics from my class´s final project which was a "live" broadcast on a talk show. I was on one of the cameras and it was ALOT of fun :) More fun than I had expected. We had alot of famous film makers on the show and the one and only Magni from Rock star performed a song in the end :)

School is almost finished and im trying to catch up with the christmas preparation. Lots of parties to plan, pressies to buy, cards to write and dust to clean...

Im so happy because this christmas all members of my group of friends from highschool will be together in Iceland. It has not happened in 5 or 6 years, and I will see two of my new babies for the first time :)

Im now seriously addicted to Malt and Appelsín... They are both traditional icelandic drinks and when mixed together they are CHRISTMAS. Now you can buy it mixed in cans and the magic blend is pure HEAVEN...

Busy weekend behind now, i had two concerts yesterday and they went really well :) First time I sang with the choir and lots of playing with the recorder group. Its been a while since Ive played for so many people and I really enjoyed it :) It left me in a big chrissie mood and the snow was so lovely, I guess Christmas themselves might be less christmassie since there is suppoesed to be no snow over the holidays ;) School is busy as well, my class is now prepairing the final project on this semester and it will be broadcasted "live" on Friday so Im starting to panic a bit :)

Ive been very homesick for Australia lately, I saw a program on Animal Planet the other day with Steve Irwin who was wrestling tiger sharks, sea snakes and green turtles in Shark Bay and I burst out in tears. I need to get back there soooooon and hug something safer than a shark... a koala or a good tempered emu perhaps... ohhhh i miss the sweet eucalypt smell of a sleepie koala and the lovely strange smell of my swamp antechinuses... miss my aussie friends too... OK im buying the ticket as soon as i can afford it....
