Very very strange this blogger.com... I have not been able to access it for more than a week... So I'd better use the opportunity and write now :)
Two weekends ago I went to Melbourne and stayed with my IAESTE friends Jacki and Geoff. We went to an IAESTE meeting and met all the trainees and australians who have been trainees abroad. We realized we had a full set of nordics, Iceland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland. Great to meet them but I will probably not see them again :( I went with Jacki and Geoff to buy a Christmas tree in 28 degrees and we went to a Scandinavian market where I bought lots of goodies for Christmas :)
Last week was very strange, the weather was tropical, very sticky, humid, pouring rain and very warm. I was home alone one night and thunderstorms shook the house so much that I thought the lights in the ceiling would fall down. Yesterday the weather was better so I could go in the field to finish my vegetation work, lots of flies...
Its only 4 days untill my parents arrive to Melbourne and Monday next week we are off to Adelaide and Kangaroo Island... So now Im just trying to finish everything I can finish since I dont have many days after my holidays untill I go home. A bit scary...

Again Blogger.com has not been working this week but now I can start writing blogs again :) Last weekend I went to the Queenscliff music festival and had a fantastic time. Lots of really cool bands and ofcourse the highlight was Xavier Rudd's two conserts on Friday. After his first consert I was about to go and see another band when I heard screaming and ran towards the scream and managed to get Xav's autograph and a HUG from him :o) Later on I found myself being really grouppie waiting for the band "Beautiful Girls" to sign my programm... That band consists of 3 guys and is one of the hottest aussie bands today. But apart from Xav, my favourite bands were called Coda, which played gypsy/celtic/dreamy and Moona, which played Celtic Rock. Another Celtic Rock band called Claymore was also fantastic. And then there was Moses O'jah... african guys who just thinking about makes me want to dance afro dances. So yes I had a brilliant time, met Jonno and his friends there and was hanging out with them and I stayed at Fred and Judy's holiday house with the whole family. I was very veryyyyy tired when I came back and had to put up traps on Monday and have been checking them all mornings, got sick with a sore trought and flu-ie but am feeling a bit better. Tomorrow Im off to Melbourne to spend the weekend with IAESTE people :) There are only two weeks untill mum and dad come to Oz... and I have sooo much work to finish...
