Im back to civilization!! Film finished and its strange not living with 20 people and spending day and night with them in the countryside. It was fantastic experience and I made some really good friends. Working in a film crew is hard work, little sleep and long hours, but with good people its a lot of fun. The first week was extremely hard since I had´nt gotten any training for this job but thankfully I got the hang of it. The most exciting thing for me was to actually be in this fantastic place (Reykhólasveit). The first weeks I lived on the farm Miðjanes (fourth picture on the previous link). A beauuutiful place with sheep, horses, cows and the gorgeous dog Lissí, who ran towards me and my housemate Marta every time she saw us and loud birdsongs woke us up every morning. I think i saw about a million birds in this trip, they were eeeverywhere and I nearly lost my mind watching them when i had the chance. I saw 3 arctic foxes during the trip, an EAGLE and a Merlin (smyrill) with a prey in its claws. Eagle and Merlin appeared within 10 minutes of each other and almost killed me and Marta of excitement :)
